Big Question: What makes a strong team? A team is a group of people who work together to get a job done. There are many kinds of teams, such as sports teams, co-workers, band members, and families. A strong team is made up of people who help each other be their best.

Airline pilots work together in crews, or teams. The pilot in command, who sits on the left side of the cockpit, is called the captain. The first officer sits on the right side of the cockpit. Sometimes, there is a third pilot, called a flight engineer.
