How Tía Lola Came to Stay

In what ways do you count on relatives or family friends when you need help? Foster families help children in your community. They are licensed, or approved, by your local or state government. Foster families provide a safe, temporary place for children to stay. The goal of the foster family is to love, support, and care for a child while they are waiting to be reunited with parents or another relative.
