Explain
• Use the slideshow to review the key concept words.• Explain that children are going to learn about curiosity:
• What it means to be curious.
• How to explore.
Model
• After the host introduces the slideshow, point to the photo on screen. Ask children: What do you see in this picture? (a treasure map).• Ask children: When might you go on a treasure hunt? (at a party, in school).
• Say: Today we are going to learn to explore. Exploring helps us to learn things. Where would you like to go exploring? (answers will vary).
Guided Practice
• Guide children through the next three slides, showing them that there are many places we can look for treasure. Always have the children describe what what is the real treasure today.Apply
• Play the games that follow. Have them discuss with their partner the different topics that appear during the Talk About It feature.• After the first game, ask children to talk about what items belong at a school. After the second game, have them discuss numbers and number words.

• Ask children: What is your favorite thing about school? Explain.• Say: We have had a very good school year. Think about how you will always remember the things you learned in Kindergarten.
