4th Grade, Research and Inquiry Activities

2. Click on Peopling of America and then click on a time period that interests you.
3. Look at the charts and read about immigration during this time period. Answer the three questions in the space provided below.
4. Get together with the students in your class who chose the same time period as you. As a group, write a summary of United States immigration during your time period.
5. Present your group's information to the rest of of the class.
A) Where did most immigrants come from during your time period?
B) Why did they come to the United States?
C) How did life in the United States change because of them?
