3rd Grade, Research and Inquiry Activities

2. Under Biggest and Smallest, read about the different animals and their sizes. On a sheet of paper, record the names and measurements of each of the animals.

3. Under Fastest, read about the different animals and their speeds. Record the information on a piece of paper.

4. Look at the notes you have made an place the animals in order from smallest to biggest and slowest to fastest.

5. Using materials in the classroom, make one poster that illustrates the speed and one that shows the size of the animals you have learned about. Draw pictures of the animals and write about their sizes and speeds.
