6th Grade, Research and Inquiry Activities
1. Connect to this link: http://www.mythweb.com/.
2. Do you want to find out more about gods or heroes? Make your choice and click on the either Gods or Heroes. If you chose Gods, click on one of the gods in the picture when it comes up. Do the same if you chose Heroes.
3. On the bottom of this worksheet, circle either GOD or HERO, depending upon which page you chose on the Web site. Do not include the name of the god or hero you chose. Then write three or four facts describing the god or hero you read about on the Web site.
4. When you are finished, switch papers with a partner. Your partner must use the Web site to figure out who you read about, and you must find out which god or hero your partner chose.
5. Make sure you put include enough details on this worksheet so that your partner will be able to find your mystery god or hero. But be careful -- do not include the name of the person you are writing about!
