Homework Time
  • Check to make sure your child is making a list of homework assignments.
  • During homework time, do some quiet work, too, such as organizing your calendar for the week, cooking, cleaning, checking email, or reading.
  • Ask your child if he or she wants help.
  • Set aside time to read together every night. Choose books or poems that you enjoy. Consult your local library for lists of read-aloud books you will both enjoy!
