1. Work with a partner. Connect to this link: http://www.oxfam.org.uk/coolplanet/ontheline/explore/nature/deserts/deserts.htm.

2. Read about deserts by clicking on the links in the left-side panel: climate , landscape , geography , the sahara , plant life , and animal life . Take notes as you read.

3. When you are finished reading, click again on deserts . Then click on quiz at the bottom of the page. Print the sheet and fill in the answers.

4. Once you have completed the questions, switch quizzes with a partner. Click on answers at the bottom of the quiz page and correct your partner's paper.
