Cinquain Poetry

1. Connect to http://its.guilford.k12.nc.us/webquests/poetry/poetry.htm

2. Scroll down to where it says "The Process." Click on the Cinquain link and print out the worksheet. (If you don’t have access to a printer, work on a separate sheet of paper).

3. Use the worksheet to create your own cinquain poem. The poem may be about anything you like, as long as it is appropriate to read in the classroom. Write about something that will be fun to describe.

4. Read your poem aloud to the class.
