4th Grade, Research and Inquiry Activities
1. Connect to this link: http://www.cathyspagnoli.com/asiatell/tricks.htm. This site has five trickster tales from Asia. Choose one of these tales and click on it.
2. Read the tale you chose. Where did it come from?
3. Return to the top of the Web page and click on Asia. Then, click on Props to find examples of things a storyteller might use to tell your story.
4. Create one or two props you could use to retell the story you read.
5. Retell your trickster tale to a partner who read a different story. Use the props you created to tell the story.
