Objectives
• Children will use the computer to do research and inquiry on animal homes.
• Children will learn more about where different animals live.
• Children will complete a worksheet by matching pictures of different animals to pictures of where each animal lives.
Suggested Activities
• Have children look at the pictures on the Web site. Have them think about what other animals share the same home as a monkey and a frog. Create a chart on the chalkboard listing the different animals that live in these places.
• Take children outside of the school to walk around and look for animal homes. When a child finds a tree, beehive, etc., ask them what animal/s live in each home.
