Cowboy Life

1. Connect to this link: http://www.nationalcowboymuseum.org/diamondr/index.html

2. Click on Exhibits then on Chuck Wagon Exhibit. Click Start. Six flashing red dots will appear on the picture. Move your cursor over the dots to read about different items common in cowboy life.

3. Visit the Bunkhouse by clicking the icon of the bed and visit Properity Junction by clicking the icon of the building next to the watertower.

4. Work with a partner and make a card game about cowboys. Using index cards, make pairs of cards with an item on one card and a specific situation when you would use the item on another.

5. Once you have about 12 cards created, play a memory game by mixing up the cards and turning them all over on a desk or table. One of you will start by turning over two cards and looking for a match. If you get one, you can choose again. If not, your partner gets a turn. Keep playing until all the matches have been made. The winner will have the most pairs of cards!
